SAGE Training:  Experience . . . the Difference

For over 20 years, SAGE Truck Driving Schools have provided high quality, comprehensive professional tractor-trailer driver training to thousands of students across the country. Our programs are unique: unlike many truck driving schools, Sage's truck driving instruction is conducted on a private, one-on-one basis on the road. There is never more than one student in a truck. You won't find groups of students crowded into a truck for "observation time," as with many schools.* Observation time simply means that students sit in the truck and watch each other drive.  Some trucking schools often do this to cut their own costs and artificially inflate the total hours of "behind the wheel" training - - most of which is not student driving.  SAGE believes observation offers minimal instructional value.   We believe you learn to drive by driving, not watching.   At SAGE, the focus is on you and your skills so you have the best chance of getting a great job.  We value our students, their safety and their training. PTDI: The basic programs  at the Billings, Missoula, Lebanon, Caldwell, Coeur d'Alene and Lehigh schools are certified to meet the national certification standards set by the Professional Truck Driver Institute.
