| Requirements
All applicants are required to complete an Enrollment Application, provide a copy of a
valid driver’s license and a copy of a physical examination on a DOT form (available
at the School). Students must be able to pass a drug screen if administered. Admission is
open to high school graduates/GED (or those who complete an ability-to-benefit test).
Applicants must possess a driving record free of current serious violations. Applicants
who satisfy these criteria are asked to sign an Enrollment Agreement.

Procedures
Please contact the School to discuss your
qualifications and how this opportunity can serve you. A School staff member
will interview applicants for admission through a personal interview or, for
those who cannot visit the School in person, a telephone interview.
Applicants are encouraged to visit the School. Staff members explain the
SAGE training programs and graduation requirements,
provide information about the professional trucking industry, job placement
assistance and statistics, the costs of training and financing available,
and provide a catalog and other information about the School. Staff members
make every effort to provide a realistic understanding of the nature of the
trucking industry so the applicants can make intelligent training and career
choices in light of their aptitudes and interests.

Paying for School
Paying for truck driving school with
SAGE's assistance is easy. We have several
alternatives that can assist you. Please contact us to see which method (or combination of

Private student
loans for those who qualify:
SAGE has established relationships with
lenders that specialize in
truck driving school loans. Loans are available only at certain
locations for those who qualify.

Financing can be available even to students that have had some problems with credit or have
not established credit, if you qualify. The monthly payments
are affordable, and may be covered by Employer loan payment plans! We want to help you go to school, get the education and
training you need and put your career into high gear. You won’t be turned down if you
meet our minimum standards! A co-borrower is encouraged and may be required.
Conditions and restrictions apply.
Public Funds: many private and government agencies receive public funds through
state and federal programs designed to provide job training assistance to qualified
applicants. These include Workforce Investment Act (WIA), vocational rehabilitation (VocRehab), Trade Adjustment Assistance
(TRA/TAA), Veterans Administration (VA), welfare-to-work (WtW) and others. Any of these
programs could pay for part or all of your training costs if you qualify. We have experts
who can guide you through the process. Call us to see if you qualify.
Cash/Check/Money Order/Credit Card: Going to school to start an exciting new career
takes a financial as well as a personal commitment. The fastest way to get your career
moving is to pay for your training yourself. Although there are numerous sources of funds
and loans, you may not qualify for them and they often take time to process.
SAGE's
admissions personnel will assist you in finding an economical and
affordable way to make your training possible.
SAGE
also accepts major credit cards.
Employer Tuition Reimbursement Plans: Most good trucking companies have a generous
tuition reimbursement program that pays all the tuition costs of your school. This is a great way
to go. We'll help you set up an employer paid loan. Your tuition can be
paid by an employer after all
reimbursement is provided!
SAGE can get you pre-hired so you know that you have a job when
training is finished. It's fast and it's easy.
Employer-Paid Plans:
SAGE has select carrier partners that will finance
the costs of school for qualified students in exchange for a working
commitment. These are excellent opportunities for some students because
SAGE has partnered with well-respected employers
that have very good reputations in the trucking industry.
Working for the employer for a minimum period is required or costs of
training must be re-paid. These programs are only available at
certain locations. Because of employer conditions and
requirements, these programs are not appropriate for some students and
should be considered carefully.
